Below we have tried to answer common questions asked of us. If you have further queries please don’t hesitate to contact us on (03) 9399 1399.

Fees?

Fees are set by the individual psychologists and can be discussed with us individually.

How many sessions?

Many people attend psychology under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) with sessions partially funded by Medicare. Refer to your GP for a MHTP and referral letter. A MHTP and/or referral letter allows for a subsidy for up to 10 sessions per calendar year through the Medicare system. After that sessions may be subsidised by private health funds or paid by the individual in full.

What about confidentiality?

Psychologists are bound by confidentiality requirements. We are not permitted to release any information about you unless we believe that you are at risk to yourselves or others. Sometimes records are also subpoenaed by a court of law. In all other cases, your permission will be sought prior to release of information.

Cancellations and rescheduling appointments?
